The word structure in the essential question threw me for a total loop this week because my brain for some reason couldn’t wrap my head around what that actually meant. Then I asked Dr. Graham if there was a different word I could use in place of structure and she suggested steps and that cleared it up for the most part. Then once I started reading through the articles, one of them gave a good definition of what structures were and that also helped me out.
There was a lot of information to read through and process this week. I had nine pages of notes after reading through the articles Dr. Graham posted and I hadn’t even started doing any research of my own. So the process of picking and choosing information was a lot this week. It is also my spring break this week so the thought of doing anything related to education made this a lot more difficult, but I managed to come up with something.
I enjoyed reading through the different blogs this week. The fact that there are some of us that don't really have any experience using true PBL and then there are some that have a solid understanding of what it is and how to use if effectively in the classroom is interesting. The blogs made a lot of sense as we all condensed the information from the articles in unique ways. Some of the blogs made what I read this week a lot more understandable and I appreciated that.
