In Scenario 3, students have to create an alternate ending and use their text citations throughout your building, with signs, chests and books. Include in the ending: Jonas’s journey, the memories the Giver gave to Jonas, and what the community looks like at the end of the story. Write a summary of what you built and why. Post your summary and screenshots of what you built to your wiki. You have the chance to receive the “Grammar Boss Badge” at the end of this scenario if you choose too.
If you write a summary with zero grammar/spelling errors and it is the length needed for your grade level you will receive a badge. In order to alert me that you are trying to get the “Grammar Boss Badge” there are a few things you need to do. First, you must put Attn. Grammar Boss in the title of your wiki for your summary of Scenario 3, if it’s not there I will skip right by it. Second, you must also indicated what grade you are in so I know how long your summary needs to be, again if the grade you are in is not there I will skip right by it. I am trusting that you will be honest and will put your real grade level and not a lower one. If both Attn. Grammar Boss and your grade level are indicated I will read your entry and give you a Grammar Boss Badge if you have zero spelling/grammatical errors. Below is a rubric, which shows how long your summary needs to be and the necessary information needed.
